Need help identifing hallmark on old vase

Not sure that it's indicative of the maker, but thats the better part of the Massachusetts State seal: Massachusetts State Seal

Yep it is the Massachusetts Indian. Mark of Roswell Gleason -

Agree. There are a few of his pieces at the Met Museum as well. I would not let it go on ebay...
