Need Help Identifying Hatchet Head

Hey There,

Cant find a match for this hatchet. Most I see have a regular hammer head oppasite the blade.
Found at a homesite long gone in the woods in Southern Va.

Tony , thanks yea whoever owned it worked it hard! So its probably impossible to date cause that style was made for many many years?

Bowwinkles, sure looks like Tony nailed it. Mine is smaller and appears to have been made with thinner material overall, but the styles a dead match.Thanks!
