i talked to the Ethan Allen museum and they have no idea what this is

It is one of many privately minted medallions. Most likely sold as souvenirs. Not sure of the maker, but there is one on ebay for $4.99, and at least one other sold for $7.95.

I have the same exact coin, and was just looking it up. My grandmother passed this coin down to me.
