Re: Need help ID'ing

Brown bottle probably contained a medical powder, 4 drams = .5 oz
white jar looks like face cream.
Nice digs!

Here's your brown bottle ID..

Figure the white bottle dates from the same time period.
=====================
A in a circle.........Armstrong Cork Company (Glass Division), Lancaster, PA; Millville, NJ [former Whitall Tatum Co. plant] ; Dunkirk, IN [former Hart Glass Mnfg Co. plant]. Mark was used from 1938-1969 on bottles and insulators. If there is a line underneath the "circled A", this indicates the bottle was produced at the Dunkirk plant.

Re: Need help ID'ing

I wish I had saved every type of milk glass cream jar that I have dug, would have made an impressive collection. Nowadays I keep all these newer goods. When the market goes up, I can do well wholesaling these, or trading.
