Need help on the Sunray Probe w/ the MXT ??

Hello,

I'm upset with my Sunray Pinpointer with my MXT :protest:

and I'm seeking some helpful guidance from a helpful and kind forum.

Here is the problem It dose not want to find the trash items. :icon_scratch:

It wants to discriminate, seems even with the Disc. down it still wants to discriminate. If I turn the Disc. all the way down then it just won't shut up and can't find targets either way. :tongue3:

However if you have a good target it bangs loud and you can find it. :icon_thumleft:

If anyone has any ideas what I Can do or make it work a little better please tell. :dontknow:

How long have you been using the DX1? Mine has never had that issue in the 2 years Iv'e used it, If my MXT gives a signal, so des my DX1. When you pull the pinpoint trigger you can zero right in on the target no matter how small.
I think yours has an issue.

I've had it about 2 years too.

When I have a good signal it can find it but.. Like I said if it is a trashy item and is anywhere in the disc. range it discriminates it and can't find it. :dontknow:
