I use a manual battery charger for electrolysis on interesting (not valuable) iron relics. The other day I placed a new rusty part in my tub, plugged in the charger, and there was a little pop and flash inside the charger and it quit. I'm an engineer by education and consider myself handy. I opened it up expecting to see a popped fuse, but there's nothing like that, not even any flash marks. Very simple parts, but I cannot figure out what needs fixing. Help?
