Need help trying to identify a possible artifact central ohio

The is my first post on here and any help would be appreciated.I found this they other day and it has me stumped as its not made of the usual material that I usually have found here in central Ohio. It may not be anything but it sure looks like it could be. I have attached pics if you need anymore let me know. Thanks in advance for your help.

Now thats definitely interesting
 

Yes, it is very interesting, but it also 100% natural. It was formed by a softer stone eroding quicker than the harder bands or raised areas. What you think are grooves are actually from that softer stone eroding away at a quicker rate. Very common.

I knew it was weathered rock. I like that one though.
 

yeah. No question that it seems to have eroded at different rates due to hardness...... but that doesn't mean that the rock wasn't used for something. I can see why you'd be interested in checking it out more... i feel that, too.
