I bought this a few years ago at a flea market in central California. The guy I bought it from had no idea where it came from. It was encrusted with dirt but the dirt could have been recent. It does not look like any shape that I've seen our local Mono indians do. Does anyone have any idea what tribe might have made it and what it was used for?
