My ten year old granddaughter is hooked on metal detecting! We found this in the yard of her home, which was built in 1790. My best guess is that it is some kind of furniture decoration. Feels like it is made from punched tin. Has a total of six very small holes...two holes in three places. 3” long, 2.5” wide. Thank you.
