Hi,

Today I found this seemingly solid brass or copper spoon at an old homestead from the 1890s. It seems to have the Knights Templar insignia on the handle. There is nothing on the back and no apparent makes mark. I am not sure the age and would appreciate any information you have on this spoon.

Thank you! IMG_2633.jpg IMG_2634.jpg

Interesting find. How long is it? Found in NJ? Maybe side profile pic / thickness?

It's a communion spoon used to dip particulates or other impurities out of the wine.
