PILOT - USAAF, circa 1939-1945 (W-67)

Marked sterling with no other hallmarks. Design is very similar to the Gemsco style manufacture. Note the lower feathering near the shield is distinctly different to most other USAAF wings. Also note the fine feathering within the winglets (just visible in the image). A very unique and beautiful art deco designimage.webp

Here ya go:

Vintage Sterling Silver Marked Pin 3 Military Wings by KrauseHaus

Neither one of these sites tell exactly what it is; basically they say 'military,' but not sure it was issued by the government. I saw a similar one that had a different center, and was ID-ed as a WWII Gunner pin.

This site states it's a WWII Pilot Navigators pin with the Meyer's logo.

Great find, Breezie
