Found this in a field alongside where a trolley use to run.It has a wick on one end and pieces of wire sticking out the other end.The handle is heavy but appears to be hollow.Underneath the arm that has the wick it says Gasoline Only.Oh, and the hole in the handle looks to be threaded.I've looked online and asked every oldtimer I know and they are all stumped.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a part of a handle for a 55 gallon barrel of gas, it would be a pump to get the gas out. just a guess.....

Thanks. But it has a wick that would be lit for something.

In picture number three I see wires sticking out the end, so I'm thinking it has something to do electrical. Just a swag. ???

My 2 cents worth suggests an early gasoline lamp lighter.
