Looks like a piece of fossil coral.

There is a hint of pattern in the image Dennis re-posted. Maybe a good close-up image of that part of the object would be useful. It's not coral, but could be some simpler form such as a bryozoan or even an algal body.

Not really closer... I think the part Harry wants to see closer is the part between noon and 3 in the original picture- where the texture is. Yak

The pattern to me is very odd something about the shape and one concave portion reminds me of a coccyx of some kind
