I want to find out about an old train track that i found that runs tru a woods I
hunt in, I'm thinking this has to go back to the 1850s? It's located in Mckenney
Virginia. Anyone have a clue how I can find something out about it?

Try the model railroad assoc. They have members and maps for every line and branch line from the very beginning.Someone is probably modeling that route now.

Good point Warsaw. There's always someone along our tracks near the old railroad station that takes pictures of trains as a hobby. There is probably someone similar there in Virginia.
Here's a little something about the tracks near Mckenney. I believe the railroad there was the SAL which at the time this link was put on the web was operating in Petersburg.
