I wondering because a fellow Tnet member says he does a lot of detecting a fur trade sights and he said if he found this at his sights he would definitely said it a carved minnie ball for a Indian pendant. It was found at a 1820 home sight in Covington La that had a high population of Native Americans. Just asking for a second opinion. IMG_0109.webpIMG_0110.webpIMG_0111.webpIMG_0108.webp

Why do you think it is made from a Minié ball? It looks like a fishing weight to me.
