Detector(s) used
Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!
Primary Interest:
Prospecting
My father in law recently sent a box of "stuff" to my wife, and one of the
items was a small box of marbles. My presumption is that they were from
when he was young (he's mid-80's now).

I know -0- about marbles...so do any of these stick out as being valuable, or
desirable to a collector?

They sure look like what the marble guys Moxie and Cheese have been posting. I'm sure they will chime in when the rest of the world wakes up...

I'm still fairly new to this hobby so my ID assistance very limited! I am sure Cheese will hop on and help you out. It is difficult to tell from the photo - what are the colors of the ribbons of the ones in the top row second from left and the last one?

The two that Moxie mentioned are the two that caught my eye the most. It looks like the one on the left has a white ribbon along with the red. If so, it's called a tracer and is made by Peltier and worth a few dollars. The other one doesn't look like it has the white but I can't tell for sure. The others are old but not high value.
