need some help

I know you guys have probably gave out this type of info a million times now.I need to know how to clean my iron relics and preserve them.How to keep them from falling apart with rust.Thanks &GOD bless.

Nice Digs.....................................Did you find it pretty deep in that red TN clay ? or another type of soil ?
