It is a knife from the woodland period. 10000 years if my memory serves me weight.

Any monitary value to it or are they farely common?

If it was Woodland it wouldnt be 10k yrs old. It is a Archaic Knife I do believe. The range will be on the color verses size. Looks to be 3 inches in length. If that helps you any. And yeah there is some value on it. Less than a 100 but probably more than 40 depending on the color.

I normally would not want to sell any of my points, but I put a $ value for insurance purposes. You have a really nice knife there. :icon_thumright:

How would this knife by hafted? It doesnt appear to have any grinding on it. Its very sharp all the way around.

Not all were hafted some were hand held. Larson put a thread up on some he saw in a museum as how they were done on a handle. Check that thread out it is really interesting. HH everyone

Thanks that info is interesting. That must be some kind if glue they used.

That looks like a spear head
