The wife and i want to travel to CA in Oct. and are looking for some adventure. We need a place where we can rent four wheelers and go exploring and nugget hunting. Any suggestions would be helpfull.
 
Oct is a good time to visit the desert portions of Cali since it's too hot the majority of the time. Death valley is a great place.GPAA or a 3 day pass to a LDMA camp would be fun too. If your driving you can rent wheelers locally and tow them to the area more reasonably then rent and ride.California people are darn friendly for the most part once you get out of the Big Sh City.
