NEL Coil with Coinmaster GT

I want to get the NEL Hunter coil. I found a dealer that lists them in their website. It lists it for the Prizms, Coinmaster, but excludes the GT? Can anyone tell me why? Would it work but loose a capability? Is it the plug? Surely someone here knows why??

They say they had a lot of issues with overloads when use on the GT and will not warrant it. I am guessing they have some quality control issues, cause I have had mine since the spring and it can be run wide open in some locations without a lot of chatter. You could try contacting Phill at Meyers Metal Detecting and see if he will mount one up on a GT and verify it works before he ships it to you.
Mine hardly ever leaves the machine.. get an extra shaft and pivot bolt, makes life a lot simpler..
