found on a sand bar on the ohio river...groove is similar to celts and other tools..its small but fits nicely in the hand....the edge is smooth so not been hammered...i belive its granite....

Me either. It looks like a naturally worn river rock to me.

I'm not sure. I, in all due respect, do not think you guys are sure either. The one pic, in piss poor light doesn't give us much to go on. Original poster, lets see some angles of this piece. Artifacts aren't camera shy! I do see a groove, but it's not enough to say yea or nay.
