Went on another fun hunt with my Tnet buddy Conito@55 today. We went to an old ghost town where there really isn't anything standing anymore.
The gold ring was a big shock, never even occurred to me that there would be gold jewelry there! The crown of it is pretty squashed, but 3 of the stones remain.

I'm pretty sure that the cylindrical piece is a blasting cap.
The garter clip is stamped "Boston Garter, Velvet Grip and Pat. 12-13-92".
Interesting openwork button front piece.

Always fun to hunt a new place, and even better when you find something.
Thanks again Miguel :icon_thumright:

Nice work Congratulations..
You are doing great this year..

Looks like we tried unsuccessfully to ID the Crown B &L Brand button 17 years ago; though one THer thought B&L might mean Bausch & Lomb.
Don....

It is a pleasure to share with you, and there are still more places to explore

Congratulations on the gold and silver.
We use to find those blasting caps along the railroad camps.

Another gold and made it into the 1800's with the Barber, NICE!

A shame that dime has a bit of damage. It's a fairly low mintage one. Still worth a few bucks though. :icon_thumleft:
