And you still spelled my name wrong! Lmao! Man, I'll have to look at that thing now that you got it cleaned up a little better! I guess I should get my stuff together and add the pics of what I found here too lol. I'm just glad my searching from yesterday didn't leave me empty handed :D

Is there any writing on the four-hole?
 
i think its just scratch marks from the plow but the hole goes all the way thru. they seeded the feild sat so we are done until fall in that field. owner made a joke on me this am said we should go hunt it now since the ground is so soft.. haha then he said oops i forgot its been seeded. what a ....moving on

Love your carved bullet. The button with four holes . . . we always just called them shirt buttons. I found one last week and it DOES have a back mark . . .
 
I love the carved bullet, if only it could talk. I could only imagine what was going through this soldiers mind while he was making this.
 
I found a carved bullet similar to the one you have. I believe it is a fishing sinker. It is a really nice find.
