I recently made this I know this is a forum for real artifacts but I thought it mostly fitting the head and mouth piece are made from marble from near Ballarat CA. At the southern end of death valley

Nice Peace/Cermonial Pipe! It must of taken a long time to carve all of the details!

I have a Peace/Ceremonial Pipe made by the Cherokee Indians in the 1980's that is fairly unique. It is made from an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, Deer antlers and assorted bird/foul feathers. The bowl has a Snake tongue carved on both sides and the mouthpiece is carved into a Rattlesnake's rattler. Since it came out of a Storage Unit Auction, was previously owned by a high end Craft and Collectible Store that went out of business in the mid-1990's and since I have no documentation as to when, where and who made it, I can't sell the Pipe without risking Federal Prison time.

Thank you it took about 16 hours to make the stone work actually took longer than the wood work all hand made I make other types of pipes as well
