Just got my new AT Pro in the other day. The question I have is...every now then I've noticed that when I'm scanning near a concrete sidewalk, it starts beeping erratically. Is it possible that its picking up the rebar or wire mesh in the concrete? And if so, would it help to turn the sensitivity down?

It could be that, but your ground balance also changed radically from the setting it was at over the soil, so it's GB is totally out of whack at that point.

Yea, turning down your sensitivity will quiet in down...but you won't get as deep of targets - luckily you won't be digging too deep anyway. ;)

It could be rebar in the concrete or nails from the forms or coins or other metal objects that fell onto the concrete and off the side. What i do if i want to checks that area near the curb or sidewalk is notch it that rebar, check the area and undo that notch out and detect the rest.
