Is it a sales pitch for Garrett detectors in the text? If not, I will probably pick it up. Thanks for posting

This is an excellent book. Although I am partial because it has one of my finds in it. I think of it almost like a Boy Scout Handbook for treasure hunters. It is an excellent read full of information and various stories. But being A.D.D. I love to look at the pictures of what people have found and this book is full of brilliant photos of a full spectrum of treasures. I would recommend this book to any of my metal detector buddies. There are times that it feels like they are trying to sell you an Atpro but to be honest I had bought one two days before I got the book so I enjoyed the info given.

I bought the wife an AT Pro and it got here friday. A copy of this book was included and I am reading it now. So far I've found it to be informative and would recommend it to other treasure hunters.

Has anyone told Garrett that there are now other brands of detectors being made? :laughing7:

Yes, I told him that in 1972 but he said I was mistaken.

yes relic quest is a great fun book.
