Both are good coils. If you're more interesting in coverage, I'd get the 5 X 10". If you want slightly more depth, the 6" round.

I got the 6 inch to work some heavy iron sites and in the woods. It pulled a deep silver out of a extremely trashy area. I actually haven't taken it off for a couple weeks now. I'm pretty impressed.

The 5X10 is more sensitive to smaller targets like gold nuggets and pinpointing is a dream.
