I received a Minelab 12x15” coil delivered by FedEx . It came in a padded envelope but can’t detect a quarter at 10” at the beach. Is this not the way coils should be shipped?

Duh! Somehow I messed up some advanced settings. Today I was digging clad quarters in the dry sand well over a foot deep and a 1935 mercury dime deeper than that. Several coins a key and a tungsten ring. I had iron bias at 0 and F2 at 6. That stopped most all bottle caps. I appreciate the extra coverage using the 12x15” coil rather than the 11” and I don’t think I would have been able to hit those targets with the smaller coil. I’m using the swingy thingy but I will be getting the pro swing 45 to help with the weight. I’m 75 hopefully I can do this for many more years. It’s a great hobby too.
