Yeah, I'm not a heavy drinker...my history is alittle sketchy on St. Patrick...apparently he was a roman british citizen, captured by the Irish at 16 in a raid...and became a slave...escaped and at some point returned to Ireland as a missionary....had to google the details.

Treasure can be “found” virtually these days if you know what I mean. But seriously lots of time for computer mapping and newspaper research. Requests for permissions, ect.

As you may be able to tell from my user name, I tend to lean away from the centralised missionary church, in favour of the more ancient traditions, I do not declare one to be right and the other wrong, just a matter of personal choice.
Also the 'casting out of snakes' (druids) from Eire (the isle of the goddess éireann) supposedly at the hands of St Pat, is a metaphor for removing the old ways, the ancient wisdom and culture of the people which had been nurtured and respected for eons ... I stand in defiance of this absurd claim
So....... I rest my case..

The casting out of snakes bit has a myth quality to it for sure...the other bits sound more historical to me...myths are kind of cool in a sense that there's a sense of mystery and sometimes a teensy bit of truth to some...I've never been to Ireland....all I know are that parts are beautiful and it rains...I would love to detect in that part of the world...
