NEW CONTEST

Hit up a coin shop today. Few Morgan's and silver eagles for some extra cash flow on some rings I'm making. Will be heading to Florida on Tuesday for about 5 days with family to visit family. Beats this cold and dreary weather. Taking the at pro and see if I can get it to work in the beach sand...probably will not function real well

The AT PRO will work fine on the dry sand. It's an excellent machine. Like most VLF machines, it can't handle salt water. Stay away from the wet sand and you'll be fine.
Good luck and last.

Yep I plan on staying in the dry stuff. Saw some videos where guys auto ground balance and then manually lower the balance numbers down....may try as well. Thanks for the input.

That's a bunch of horse feathers. I owned an AT PRO for 2 years. I used it almost exclusively. Salt water causes falsing. You will get ghost signals up the ying yang. I use the Excalibur for salt water hunts. The AT PRO is excellent in fresh water but don't believe that nonsense about making adjustments in wet sand or salt water. You'll be wasting your time. There are plenty of targets along the towel line.

Your alright wind. I will hit some gold on the towel lines. Daughter is already looking forward to collecting shells and the beach is right in front of our place...so should be a good time. Appreciate and respect the advice.
