Detector(s) used
Garret Ace 250
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Bought myself an Ace 250 a couple weeks ago, I've been working my yard since. At first I was finding nothing but junk, a lot of junk. Then finally a penny and then a bunch of pennies.

Then finally I found some wheaties. 1944 S, 1953 S, 1956 D

I also found some old tags and some game token as well as a little clad.

Some miscellaneous items, that rock has metal in it, set the detector off.

And finally I found my first ring and first silver all in one.

I must be improving, I've been all over my yard but every time I go out, I get something new.

Sounds like your learning your machine well. Congrats on the ring and the fun your having.

Nice ring!
Keep hunting that yard, I bet there's a silver coin or two waiting to be found.

WTG......I use a 350

I like your Contra Costa Co tags! My mom lives in that county ~ Near Richond and El Cerito.

Nice first finds.

It only gets better. The more time you spend at it the more you learn and the more you will find.

Awesome ring. I also found one of those "record number and destory tag" tags. H.H.

ACE 250 is a very fine machine. The more you use it the more that you will find. I have used the ACE250 for four years and have not been disappointed. Found rings, necklesses, bracelets and silver coinage. Not to mention pop rings, bottle caps and a ot of can slaw. Have fun with this hobby and Happy Hunting. HHHH

Nice going some nice finds with little travel.

I did my yard with my old detector but I think I should go over it again with my new 350
