Hello Everyone,
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hunting a new permission in central RI. There fields everywhere I was drooling all over myself). But with only 3 hours to hunt, I started in the vicinity of where the 1700’s home, barn and out buildings once stood. I used my “free style searching” approach to get an idea of what is around. The fields were very quiet until a signal found the coil; it was such a pleasure to not dig 100’s of trash pieces. I did find a few nice things and a few surprises, like a modern phone at 6 inches. The large cent is toasty as usual dating 182x and a nice flat button, some lead and pottery. A surprise iron find was the very early hoe, easily found since I was “All Metal” hunting.
Thank you for looking.
