Well it's been a while since my last post. I try to hunt every day that the heat will allow. I usually hit parks, schools and sports fields. Not doing too bad on the clad count. I have started to save all of it for a new detector. Have $300.00 now but will save some more.
I found one large silver mens ring on a soccer field pretty bent up and missing the center stone. After cleaning it up it looks good. I am having a Tiger eye stone put in it.
In one of the parks I found a 10k ladies ring with a broken blue sapphire and am having it repaired.
Took my grand son out for his first short hunt to a local school found a dollar, and few other coins and he was hooked. Then I found a ladies silver ring with a blue stone. That one I will keep for one of my grand daughters.
I will furnish pictures when the rings are repaired.
