The park we hunted in this past weekend has been pounded by many hunters with many different detectors, but it still gives up some goods from time to time. No Silver or great finds, but some clad at least... The musket ball came from an area settled in the late 1700s. Do you think it could be War of 1812??? Revolutionary??? Maybe, but I would think not.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Looks like a very peaceful site to be alone with your thoughts, beautiful views.
When I was still hunting parks, I used to concentrate on the edges, everybody tends to detect the more accessible open areas.

Get right under the bushes and into the 'naturalized' areas where others may not have detected because they're not easy to access.

Very nice finds! The ball looks sorta chewed, I may be seeing things tho so not sure.

Awesome hunt spot does look very serine....Sometimes its fun to not know about the musketball cause it makes you wonder and makes it more special... Stay safe out there. Tommy
