Hey everyone!!! I am new to the club. I have wanted to do this my whole life!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Middletown NJ is located in Monmouth County and is about 10 minutes from Sandy Hook!!!! There are a lot if great beaches to search (dry sand... Not in the water). There are also a lot of old homes and parks and farms that may have A LOT Of Cool stuff!! Where do I start!!!!

Hi Terri, welcome from Rockland County, N.Y. There is some old history in your area, have fun finding some!! Sadly, Sandy Hook is off limits to detecting, but there are many more Jersey beaches you can hunt.

Any suggestions I am 6 miles from sandy hook. There are a lot if little beaches along the bay that I would like to try...
