New high resolution bathymetry map of the gulf might be of interest to some:

Looks like just the northern Gulf is included - based on oil exploration data.

Thanks for that information. Pretty amazing, and really some unusual unexpected features. (like the vally feature off Port Fourchon? Disco on Florida plate.)
The River Delta sediment is not as well defined as I would have thought.

Many, salt dome features, and I have to remember this is a 5X vertical representation, so the bottom features are not so well defined.

Wish they had gone a bit shallower than 130'.

I suppose if one is looking for oil by banging away on the top of a salt dome, this is very useful
