My brother told me about this site. Very cool here. I have been interested in this hobby (MDing/panning/prospecting) for as long as I can remember. Been looking at some beginner rigs lately and lo and behold my Dad gives me a Fisher Labs M95 Contruction type MD. It picks up EVERYTHING! Hits real hot on Fe based metals. Also hits on all other metals real well too. Here is a pic of our findings (my son (5) and I) from the backyard.

5 nails, a wheel weight (I cast bullets and this is from where I stored them a few years back), a 77 penny, a piece of iron pipe, tent peg, dog chain, .35 Remington shell, 1 foot 3/8 extension, fishing stringer snap hook, window sash lock and 2 gutter nail "tubes".
