All Treasure Hunting
Hey people. Names Eoin and Im currently residing in Ontario. Im relocating to B.C next spring/summer and hope to start some treasure hunting and prospecting. I havent actually done any yet but recently the gold bug has hit hard after I purchased a gold soverign coin. Its all downhill from here on out haha.

So basically I plan to buy a camper van on arrival to B.C and spend the summer exploring the countryside prospecting and treasure hunting. I cant think of any better way to spend a summer than trecking and camping through the rockys. If i can stumble on some abandoned mines to explore it would be fantastic or even better to find one of the legendary lost mines that are still hiding after all these years.

Any help would be greatly appreicated. If anyone is going to look for a lost or abandoned mine I would be glad to help.

(P.s if we find a mine or rich deposit its all yours, you must be a canadian citizen to have rights to a mine.....im just in for the adventure and maybe to fill a pocket or two 8-)8-) )

Dia duit agus cuir fáilte roimh TNET ó Tennessee (Hello and welcome to TNET from Tennessee)! Always great to see another Irishman on Treasure Net even though my ancestors came over around the 1600's! I don't know much about Gold Prospecting in British Columbia other than some videos I have watched. However, I can include a few links below that might help. Get written permission to be on any Gold Claim if the owners allow folks on their' Claims or make sure you are on lands that allow the Public on to prospect. Gold Prospectors and Gold Claim owners can be rough and many folks have been shot and killed for trespassing even if it was by mistake or just passing through because it was the easiest route. If you get the bug so bad that you venture into purchasing a Gold Claim, please make sure that it is a legitimate Gold Claim by checking records and by test panning the Claim and definitely make sure that those selling it are legitimate (i.e. the owner or owners and/or authorized to sell it).
