Greetings from a 48yr old norcal native. I've lived in Chico CA (100 miles north of Sacto) my entire life. I work as the counselor at the continuation high school in the area and work in AK every summer as a commercial fisherman.
My dad recently gave me his metal detector collection which consists of a Garrett GTA 350, Tesoro Lobo ST and a Tesoro Diablo Umax. I've used the GTA for about 5 hrs at the beach last summer but that's about it for experience. Looking forward to trying the Lobo on some creek side beaches in the near future. I'm thinking of many places to detect but little time to actually go get it done......
