Hi all,
I live at the Jersey Shore
I'm newly registered here on the forum but no stranger to it.
Been interested in this hobby since I was a kid. I just never had the time or money to get into it. For about the past year I have been reading the forums and researching what MD would be best for me to start out with. I always do a lot of research on something before I get into it. I have already learned a great deal from this forum and I thank you all. I will return the courtesy and be helpful to others on the forum when I can.
I have read and understand the Code of Ethics and Lingo Glossary.
I finally pulled the trigger and bought a Garrett 350 It arrived yesterday so I decided it's an appropriate time to join the forum.
I started praticing in my backyard yesterday. I dug up 1 quater/ 1 dime & and a rotted penny and a 4" piece of scrap aluminum siding.
The coins were mostly from the 80's-90's. I am trying to hone my skills before venturing out. Especially pinpointing with the MD.
For some reason when I went to update my profile in the settings section to add info on myself when I click the submit button it comes back with a message: "The file(s) uploaded were too large to process." But I didn't upload anything. I just answered the questions in the boxes. strange?
Do I have to have a minimum post count before it will allow me to add info in my profile?
