new guy from Wimberley,Tx

Hello,
New to metal detecting and new to Wimberley. Recently semi retired, (little bored) and looking to start metal detecting here and around Wimberley. Was wondering if there were any clubs in this area.
Don't really have a clue to what I am doing but can assure anyone that if they help me, what I lack in knowledge I will make up for in enthusiasm
