Hello all, I'm new to the site. I use to metal detect many years ago using a cheap detector. I have been wanting to get back into it. I decided to order a Garrett Ace 350 which will be here Tuesday. I'm looking forward to doing some hunting again. If anyone is in the North central Louisiana area give me a shout.

That would be pulltabs 10%, Nails 10%, and Slag 10%.

It looks like a good detector. I was going to fork out the money and get the AT Pro, but that $600 price tag would hit me hard right now (Surgeries/Medical Bills and my 3rd little one arrived in Oct)...LOL, so I went with the 350. Im a little concerned about the ground balance issue, but hopefully being in Louisiana the soil wont give me problems. I may move up to the AT pro in the future. Thanks all for the welcome.
