New guy on the block

Hi everyone, sort of new to metal detecting. Just started last spring. One of my first finds was a 1886 silver dollar. Right then I was hooked!
I am a semi retired auto repair shop owner. Been with the local volunteer Fire Department for the last 33 years.
I run a Fisher F5 metal detector. Just purchased a Equinox 600. Can't wait to get out and try this one.
