New guy from Chicago west suburbs.

I just started and I have so much to learn about everything. I don't know what it is about detecting, but I'm hooked.

Attaching pic of what I found tonight. I can't believe all this stuff is in the ground. And it's so much fun to find. I can't wait to learn more about coins and this hobby!

Cheers!

Welcome to Tnet & the best hobby in the world.

If your surprised how much is in the ground in public places, then your be amazed how much metal is on our farming fields. We get rid of so much junk/metal I wonder if the fields might sink down.

Welcome to the T-net. It appears you understand your machine well enough to get the good stuff. Now finding some good locations where the older stuff hides will be part of your research and fun. I always love my heart shaped finds. You done very good there mate.:icon_thumright:

You think its addicting now...just wait until you score your first silver coin. No amount of NARCAN will fix that overdose! Welcome to a great hobby from a fellow lost soul...
