Hey everyone,
Name is Shannon, glad to find this community. I've been deep in the prospecting world from the data and mapping side — built a tool called AuthoriProspector that overlays live BLM mining claims, PLSS grid, USGS historic mine sites, Alaska DNR state claims, and Yukon and BC mineral claim data all on one map.

The goal was to solve the problem I kept hearing about — prospectors driving hours only to find everything is claimed, or not being able to visually cross-reference LR2000 data before heading out. One thing that makes it different from other claim maps is the aliquot precision — it parses the BLM legal description down to the exact 20-acre parcel rather than showing the whole 160-acre quarter-section as claimed. There's often open ground hiding inside what looks like a solid wall of red on standard maps.
