Hi! My name is Dominic. Im new here and plant to start metal detecting soon. Im most likely gonna pick up an garrett ace 250. Any tips for Hunting on long island?

Thanks for the welcome!! Should be getting a detector soon. Still doing research on it. I probably wont start the hunt till it gets warmer. In the teens right now on the island.

Ok so after being on the fence between the ace250 and F2. I went with the F2. Came with extra coil and pinpointer for same price as the ace250.
