Good day, I'm from "middle east" syria.
My village is floating on a lot of ancient civilizations. Greek, roman, jewish and things before 3000 years BC
My grandfather is the village headman.
He has a lot of fields. He died before 50 years. After he died . Most my uncle search the appear sites for gold coins. But they found alot of ancient things and sold them in very low price.
In the next post I.ll remind what the things.
I.ll start new journey for discover new value things and will upload the pictures and videos.

I'm going to move to general discussion.

Welcome to our forum. Do you have a metal detector? Have you metal detected before?
Are there antiquities laws limiting metal detecting in Syria since it is such a rich archeological area?
I recently read an article where Syrian Migrant Metal Detectorists were in the UK and got in trouble for looting England’s treasure(not reporting their hoard finds)...LOL

Now no limited laws for detecting because the war .
I didn't use metal detectors before. In Our village we didn't give permission to any treasue hunter to dig in our feilds.
