Hey all! I've been lurking the forums here for quite awhile, watching you all pull in find after great find and I can't take it anymore! I NEED to start MDing!!!! I know I'm addicted already and I haven't even picked up an MD once in my life. haha But I have always thought about it. I just don't know where to start... for a complete newbie to the art/sport/hobby/addiction of MDing Some advice would be great! What kind of MD should I be looking at getting? Take into account my location is Florida on the Gulf of Mexico side. So something that I could pass in the shallow waters would probably something needed

I just know there are some great finds around here and I've NEVER seen a soul MDing anywhere (could be due to some laws I don't know about mind you...) but I want to jump in and get my feet wet! So some help would be GREATLY appreciated! Can't wait to begin sharing my daily finds with you all!

I can't wait to get started lol, but I am going to take my time and not make a mistake buying a junk MD...
that's my biggest concern and I don't have a heck of a lot of cash to spend on one.. 150-200 I guess would be my starter range... can't afford a $500+ model yet
