New Killer B's

I just got a new pair of headphones and they came loose in a shipping box
with bubble rap.
there was no sealed plastic and they have a bunch of little scuff marks on them
but they do look new..
Is this a normal way to receive new phones?

Well it does not sound right to me i would ship them back and buy a pair some place else. That is how i do it to me when a Co. sends out a product in not new shape and not packed good i never use them again. But that is me..................................==Jim_K==

I went to a big on line site and purchased new Killer B's Wasps for 107$ ..
What I'm asking is - has anyone purchased these headphones new and how were they packaged
when they received them..

Maybe you should just call the retailer.
If i paid 107 bucks for something I wouldnt want it to have banged around all the way to my house and definitely wouldnt want it to be scuffed up.
Im sure youd rather not have to ship them back and wait for new ones though.
Bummer.

I bought a pair of Killer B's three years ago and they were packaged the same way. At first I thought the dealer had just thrown a returned pair in a box and shipped them off. As it turned out, they were the model I ordered, but not the model I wanted. The dealer offered to exchange them and sent the pair I wanted. They arrived packaged the same way. They worked perfectly, though. I've used them since and am happy with them.

I received a pair of Killer Bee's this way and changed over to Grey Ghosts and Black Widow from Detector Pro.

Thanks - old relic and sandman - that was the info I was looking for..
They came with no directions or manual and I have never had phones with frequency and
limiter switches and not sure which is which..
I think next time I'll try Grey Ghosts or Ratphones..

I bought a pair of "Grey Ghost NDT's and they were very well packaged, I bought them through Sun Pro. NDT stands for No Down Time. The headset cables are replaceable and interchangeable. I ordered the phones with one 1/4inch cable and one 1/8 inch cable. 1/8th. is for my antique Minelab XS and the other is for my Fisher 1266-X.........NGE
