Nice pics Hammered!! I love that squirrel pic

Thanks Peachy :icon_thumleft:, he/she comes around every day asking for peanuts :laughing7:, if I don't put them out in time it squeaks until I do. The ducks follow me around the common and creaks, also begging for food. If I had a pond I think they would come and live here :tongue3:.

He/ She is well cushioned :laughing7:, one or three are ok, but when they breed they have to be taken care of. Anybody got any recipe's . Funnily enough, we call them tree rats too.

Had I known you would do that (and you honour me in doing so), I would have taken a much better picture, or at least tried ;D. Thanks guys :icon_thumleft:

LOL When I saw the squirrel on Chug's pc, I had to come and get it for mine too!!!! It is too cute, and reminds me of the ones around us, and yes we feed them! Chug changes his background every saturday! We both enjoy your pictures Hammered, your photos are wonderful, and it was great seeing another pic of Benson, Hi guy!!!!! :hello: Red

Nice pics brother!! That must be a pretty wide range lens judging from the squrriel, duck and then you had one of an awesome sky! Keep'em coming!

Hello Ian, that is one of the best and closest close-ups I've seen of a squirrel. I like the Mallard, too. He looks
like he is going to swim right up to you and move you out of his way, LOL.

They are all good.

Really? I thought it was a Southern thang. Go figure. Recipes you say. Well, I do not have a recipe, but I do have a recommendation. When I was a tot (about 10yr old in the late70's) I would get off the school bus in my little Tennessee town of 450, run into the house, put up my books, call my mother at our little country store and let her know I was headed to the woods to hunt. (Try that in a town of over 2000) I would put the 20ga on my bike and take a 5 min ride to the woods down the road. I would shoot about 3 or 4 squirrels and take them to my PaPaw. He would clean em and cook the meat making it into squirrel dumplings!! MMMMMMMGood!! Now I cannot tell what that recipe was but he used biscuit dough and the dish was heavenly!!
One thing though, I did not figure you could kill the little buggers in a town of any population. I could be wrong I suppose. Good luck and great pics!!
